It has come to my attention that there is a punkbuster undetectable cheat that will put you at the top of the BFBC2 ladder and make you irresistible to the opposite sex. I want to be clear that if anyone is caught using this cheat they will be kicked out of the clan without warning.

	Well sort of anyhow...

Deciding that the drug dealers business model is the best one for game releases EA has announced that gamers who purchase the new Medal of Honor (itself still in Beta) will get exclusive access to the beta of Battlefield 3. So if you are already addicted to its current product, EA wants to convince you that your next big hit is just around the corner. So don't get too attached to your current game and don't worry about the bugs. A new game will be out soon with new bugs of its own to make you forget the current game and its short comings.

This "chain of continuos purchasing" model for beta access is sure to gain criticism from intelligent gamers, but the masses will no doubt "RUSH" to fill the coffers at EA in order so see the next game, about which they will whinge, and provide great detail about how it did not meet up to their expectations.

BUT regardless of how you feel about the model, don't buy MOH just for early access to BF3 as the fine print is by no means a guarantee of satisfaction anytime soon.

"Beta offer is contingent on Beta availability within 12 months of Medal of Honor release. Beta will be available for a limited time only and offer expires upon close of Beta events. Participation in Beta requires acceptance of Beta Agreement. Must be 18+. Xbox GOLD membership required for Xbox users. Check this site for further details when available. "

So you actually only get the potential access to the Beta, depending on it being released within a reasonable time frame, and we all know how reliable DICE and EA have been with releases lately. BF1943 on PC anyone?

DICE has now confirmed to PC Gamer that the Onslaught downloadable game type for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - previously limited to the console versions of the game only - will eventually make its way to PC.

Onslaught mode - a variant of the popular Gears of War 2 Horde-style mode - requires teams of up to four players to capture flags around one of four maps while eliminating waves of AI-controlled enemy soldiers.

Previously, DICE claimed that the PC version of Battlefield: Bad Company 2's reliance on dedicated servers for its multiplayer component was to blame for Onslaught mode's initial no-show on that platform. In the official Bad Company 2 PC forum, associate producer Barrie Tingle provided the following explanation:

"The problem we have on PC is that all our servers are dedicated with providers. Changing a server from Conquest 32 players to Onslaught 4 players cuts out 28 player slots from the total ammount available. This could have a dramatic affect on the PC online environment if enough servers changed to Onslaught," wrote Tingle. "We aren't ruling out Onslaught on PC but at this time we are researching how to bring it to PC without affecting players who don't have Onslaught or their own server to run it on."

The Dirty Dozen had a first up win last night against Australian Universal Soldiers on CyberGamer 4 v 4 Squad Rush.

The team that played was Gung-Ho, Dirty Harold, horseteeth and TheGlennster.

The map played was Atacama Desert.

Although the score was 4 zip. A.U.S. put up a good fight and the last couple of rounds went down to the wire. D12 attacked first and out flanked A.U.S. and held a successful plant on MCOM A with few tickets lost. A.U.S. then put up stiff resistance on the second objective With a couple of their players on the roof of the second story building overlooking the B MCOM. They also were using motion sensors, but we were able to eventualy pick off a couple off the roof and with some good reviving get to the obj. 1 nil.

A.U.S then attacked and came in all 4, straight at the objective down the centre. We held off this attack (Cannot remember if they got a plant which was disarmed) and from then on we easily held them. 2 nil.

Our turn to attack again and again we had little trouble with the first M COM and a battle once again began over the second objective. We had learnt about getting to the roof tops and once we managed to hold down one to the left and for some time the one at B, we were able to get a successful plant. I think our ticket count was below 10 on both attacks. 3 nil.

A.U.S then came at us harder and we disarmed a couple of plants before they got one which they held. The final battle over the last obj was intense as again we had a couple on the roof over B. As we spotted them congregating in a building, the blue one to the left we had a couple work their way round and try to get them from their rear. I think they may have got a charge down which was disarmed, but I think it was a tight finish with D12 eventually getting the win. 4 nil.

It was an interesting game to see how another team approaches a map. Also their use of the motion sensors was different to us where we were mostly medics or soldiers. In the end I think we were a little bit quicker to shoot and kill, revived better and were sneakier.

Thanks to the guys that played and to A.U.S. for the match.

And there you have it fellas, my haul for May was 19 dogtags from Mr G, I have it on good authority that 16 of mine were wrenched from my dying hands by Glennster so I just snuck ahead in the final days of the month. If anyone beat this total please post a screenshot, and thanks to Glennster for being such a good sport as we lept out of bushes on various maps and tried to stab him to death.

I cant wait for the next patch which supposedly fixes the knife, I was slicing away at a sniper the other day and after 4 goes a squad mate shot him with a pistol....awwwwwww.

It is with regret that I have had to withdraw the Dirty Dozen team from the cybergamer open ladder. A number of players have said they are no longer keen on participating in a ladder and just play the occasional game on pubs.

	G'day all,

With the demise of the Game Arena ETQW competition some of us wanted to continue to compete in a ladder or organised league. Nothing could ever replace ETQW but if we were to continue to play as a team we needed a new game to achieve this. Battlefield Bad Company 2 has emerged as a logical choice with its mix of game types and infantry / vehicles options.

However BFBC2 requires a larger sized squad to compete in a match, especially in CONQUEST mode, so ADA fell short in terms of people who were moving across from ETQW and were interested in competative play. So a merger / upgrade was negotiated with GamblerZ an ETQW team who seemed to fit in well with ADA in terms of personalities and goals.

Thus was born a new clan which has been christened

	The Dirty Dozen

Partially in reference to the larger team sizes in BFBC2 and partially due to the "war movie" / "gritty realistic" approach that the game takes in comparison to ETQW.

Gung-Ho (Moon Satyr) will be the clan leader with Bandwidth_Bandito offereing tech support and annoying "dad" jokes where inappropriate to do so. Glennster will be doing something (whatever it is he does? Shooting lots of people or something or other I have heard). We are just finding our feet at the moment so new positions may be announced as we settle into the new venture.

Gung-Ho will be providing content on the ADA website for all BFBC2 related activities and scrimm updates. Rest assured ETQW will still be a very important part of the website and the clan. Many of the GZ team will be joining the site too so please make them welcome with a hearty MOOKA!

MOOKA! With the immenent closure of the ADA ETQW server I have had to find something to occupy my "meddling with game servers" time. So I have rented a Battlefield Bad Company 2 Server.

	The Dirty Dozen

	IP: 203.217.24.54
Port: 19567

The server is currently set to RUSH, with a full rotation of RUSH maps. The server can be changed to conquest and the other game modes relatively easily so we can experiment with what works best for us.

Add it to your favorites and come on over to the dirty dozen.

	MOOKA!
